2G TSX Chat, Chit, and General Info Thread
Bright side is, the TSX does just fine in the winter even with the OEM All-Seasons.
because i wanna belong and do what everyone else does on the forums.
you guys do 5w-20 full?
afaik 0w-20 is a blend?

Rich people man..
He's gonna need them.. at least on the fronts.
You were fine on OEM A/S? For me they were freaking terrible.

I need new tires on my OEM wheels anyways.. so I figured I would put a set of winters on since I would be switching out my enkeis for the season.
It'll be fun though to get some sliding videos in the snow with the gopro though!

Has anyone sold tires before? Is there much of a market to sell meaty 19" summer tires? Seems like a small market because of the size.
I don't like having to switch to my oem wheels whenever it snows.

I've had a few fun handbrake slides though.
There are those used tire places.. but they probably don't pay much.
Do brakes on the TSX (Honda in general) suck or is it just me?
I was semi-racing with my friend, ended up being a 3 way race after some Mustang wanted to join us. I know the brakes were starting to get pretty hot since we kept hitting red lights(3) and each time I was slowing down around speeds of 80+.
One thing on the car I can't wait to upgrade.

I love black, but this shit is impossible to keep clean.
But I do like a white with black rims car too.

Yeah, I don't think it's the brakes as much as it is the actual mechanism on the car. With Honda, I feel you really have to step on the pedal for a response. I just want something that's balanced, not overly sensitive and not stomp your foot on the ground to stop.

SIMON BBK? But I thought you have no money, especially with school now
And I'm starting to feel that the brakes aren't the best too. I definitely wanna do the OEM RL BBK upgrade... it's cheap vs. aftermarket, and it still looks pretty boss (savclaude has it, etc.).
rawger, you could probably get away with ebc pads/rotors for your next upgrade, or even an SS brake line. And btw, white is pretty damn hard to keep clean too! Trust me, I've owned both colours
urbanstereo, I'm doing 0w-20 as recommended. I live in Toronto where it gets cold in the winters (down to -30 celsius on occasion), so I don't think it'd be wise for me to change the viscosity. And yeah I do plan on driving in those temps.

I wonder if they would let me test drive it if I go there! Lol.

They did just fine for me, and that was one of the worst winters I've ever driven in.
However... On my way out with some friends tonight, hit something and put a hole in my driver's side front tire, it went flat in less than a minute. I get to spend NFL opening weekend getting a new tire put on my car, oh joy!

the pic is too dark obviously, but he clearly didn't screw the spoiler down and all the edges were coming up, and it wasn't even aligned properly lmao.
I don't think those are tips either lol, i looked at them and I think he took the mufflers off some other car and put them on this.
Also the wheel setup is... mexiflush lol.
