You have nothing to worry about, try coming up to Cleveland for the winter.

Bright side is, the TSX does just fine in the winter even with the OEM All-Seasons.

Such a pain in the ass though on this car. the metal skid plate thing on the bottom has to come off which is really annoying. If you haven't done your trans fluid change yet you might as well do it at the same time.
you guys do 5w-20 full?

afaik 0w-20 is a blend?

You were fine on OEM A/S? For me they were freaking terrible.

I need new tires on my OEM wheels anyways.. so I figured I would put a set of winters on since I would be switching out my enkeis for the season.

It'll be fun though to get some sliding videos in the snow with the gopro though!

Has anyone sold tires before? Is there much of a market to sell meaty 19" summer tires? Seems like a small market because of the size.

I don't like having to switch to my oem wheels whenever it snows.

it's not as fun with fwd. I feel quite left out in the winter when my rwd / awd friends are sliding around

I've had a few fun handbrake slides though.

There are those used tire places.. but they probably don't pay much.

Do brakes on the TSX (Honda in general) suck or is it just me?

I was semi-racing with my friend, ended up being a 3 way race after some Mustang wanted to join us. I know the brakes were starting to get pretty hot since we kept hitting red lights(3) and each time I was slowing down around speeds of 80+.

One thing on the car I can't wait to upgrade.

They aren't super terrible... but they do heat up and fade fast. They also warp like shit after heating up. Mine shake a bit under hard braking now..
Can't wait to change rotors and pads also.

My previous '07 Mazda 6 felt like it had stronger brakes.. Never had a problem with the ones on the tsx though.

I love black, but this shit is impossible to keep clean.

But I do like a white with black rims car too.

EDIT: Need this for a black car... http://instagram.com/p/skMWPRzbxZ/?modal=true

Any ideas on what you're going to look into getting next?

Yeah, I don't think it's the brakes as much as it is the actual mechanism on the car. With Honda, I feel you really have to step on the pedal for a response. I just want something that's balanced, not overly sensitive and not stomp your foot on the ground to stop.

Like what iCrap said. They're not totally iCrap, but they could be better~ I'm totally looking forward to a BBK when I need to change em out lol

SIMON BBK? But I thought you have no money, especially with school now And I'm starting to feel that the brakes aren't the best too. I definitely wanna do the OEM RL BBK upgrade... it's cheap vs. aftermarket, and it still looks pretty boss (savclaude has it, etc.).

rawger, you could probably get away with ebc pads/rotors for your next upgrade, or even an SS brake line. And btw, white is pretty damn hard to keep clean too! Trust me, I've owned both colours

urbanstereo, I'm doing 0w-20 as recommended. I live in Toronto where it gets cold in the winters (down to -30 celsius on occasion), so I don't think it'd be wise for me to change the viscosity. And yeah I do plan on driving in those temps.

Dunno yet, but with the way I drive it won't be long till I have to start looking.

I do remember seeing a kit on tire rack for like $200 something... I think it was stoptech rotors and pads.

I signed up hella late for classes since I went to HK and dad signed me up for this late ass orientation which led to shitty class times.

This will most certainly give the old guys here a car boner. My uncle's car, same as my dads but one year older and white. His is actually driveable unlike ours that has been sitting in the garage for 10 years needing a new tranny. My grandpa was really into fixing up Chryslers back in the day.

They did just fine for me, and that was one of the worst winters I've ever driven in.

However... On my way out with some friends tonight, hit something and put a hole in my driver's side front tire, it went flat in less than a minute. I get to spend NFL opening weekend getting a new tire put on my car, oh joy!

lol i saw one like that.

The one i saw had a sideways tow hook as well, and it looked like RDX mufflers or something. Along with a lopsided trunk spoiler.

the pic is too dark obviously, but he clearly didn't screw the spoiler down and all the edges were coming up, and it wasn't even aligned properly lmao.

I don't think those are tips either lol, i looked at them and I think he took the mufflers off some other car and put them on this.

Also the wheel setup is... mexiflush lol.

My car started clunking again This time it's worse than it was before. But only does it when I brake hard enough to shift some weight forward, then as I accelerate, it clunks...
