Radiator for JDM front end
Radiator for JDM front end
My 02 TL-S has a JDM front end on it and I need to replace the radiator. I bought a Type-s radiator only to find out its different than the JDM one. What radiator would I be able to use besides the JDM one? Would a TL-P radiator work? Thanks in advance.
Well for one, the new radiator has a hole in the bottom middle of it for what looks like a sensor but the old radiator does not. Second, the fans line up on the top and I can screw the 10mm bolts in , but the 2 legs at the bottom of the fans don't reach low enough to where they need to sit in the holes so basically the fans would just be mounted by the 2 top bolts and hanging.
Looking at the old radiator on my car it says " Honda pa66+pa612-gf30". Anyone have any idea what car this radiator is from? I'm thinking the previous owner installed a different radiator than a TL one.

No. I have a 2002 JDM Honda Inspire front end on my 2002 Acura TL.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I hope you didnt actually pay for the whole front end when a grille and some sidemarkers would accomplish EXACTLY the same thing.
Lol. Yes it's a REAL Type -S. I bought the car that way so no I didnt pay for the front end.The problem with the air filter was that the car was hit in the front end and the shop replaced it with a front clip from a JDM non-TypeS front end including the air filter. I ended up getting a TypeS air filter to replace it.
