Lightbulb stuff that you add to ATF???

i was at pep boys the other day getting new spark plugs and i saw some stuff that can be added to trans fluid, just pour it in the dipstick place, lol. and it helps stop hardshift and protects the fluid and life of the trans, there were alot of diff brands of this stuff.and it said it was compleatly safe for all trans fluid. i wanna know should i bother, will it help keep my trans healthy? anyone tried it?

Acura does not recommend any additives.

the stuff made by lucas is good. but im not too sure how much it will help with the defect in our tranny's. we have plenty of lubrication it just over heats. there really isnt too much you can do about it.

Your post makes it sound like a tranny cooler will help. It won't.
