my navi map stays stationary and only the car moves.. kinda makes things confusing at times. i coulda sworn back then it was the navi car that movied (which is much easier, altho i might have been dreaming)


anyways, my question is do you guys have a stationary arrow, or a stationary map.

and is there anyway to make my arrow stationary and have the map move instead of the other way around?

 

my 01 the car changes direction in the center of the map but the map does the moving
You can only swap North displayed or current direction is UP on the display

I believe that my map moves and not the arrow. Now you got my thinking and will have to double check it and get back to you.

 

wow that is so weird...my map doesnt move but your guys' do...

im gonna reset the navi and see what happens.

what happens when your car gets to the edge of the map- Is the world really flat?

 

no the map moves with the arrow but it doesnt rotate.

so if im driving straight but south, my gps shows my car going down south which makes my left and rights reversed in real life.

 

push the icon in the top right corner of the screen- it will put it back to `your view` mode
dont know why it switches but mine does too

while we are on the subject

anyone ever notice when sometimes when you are getting a direction to a location, it will show a menu list of turns and streets and most the times it wont.

 

is it time for a dvd update- been more than say 3 years?

 

yea but im selling this car asap.

 

tell the new owner that dvd updates are available and give them the links to acura care and nav purchase
