Need help in knock sound

Hi guys,

This just happened to me about 2 days ago. When I step down on the gas padel and release it, a knock sound appears somewhere in the car. I cannot pinpoint where does it comes from. It feels right under the driver sead, and sometimes it sounds like from under the trunk.

Everytime I step down and release the padel (most likely under 40mph range) I can hear a loud knock noice eithere right after I release the padel or about 2 seconds afer the padel release. I can reproduce the sound everytime. It is very lound on the 0-10mph then 10-20mph... when I goes up about 40mph, it sounds a lot quieter.

I am worried about a transmission failure. Can somebody tell me what happen?

Well id say try to isolate where its coming from. Engine? interior? ect... with out what/where its coming from we might as well say take the loose bowling ball out of the trunk

sway bar links are probably dead. mine were making the same knocking noises when i slightly tapped the gas pedal. then it would go away for a few hours or so.. then it does it again. the fluid thats inside the sway bar link bushing probably softened and doesnt hold the sway bar stiffly in place and ccauses a knocking right underneath your feet.

you only need it for the front so buy two at parts department at any acura dealer. it costs pretty cheap, less than 20 for both? replacing isnt too hard to do either. just get the wheel off, and you'll see the links at the end of the sway bars. there are two bolts to take off...

I'm gonna have to say that this sounds like a broken motor mount.

Thanks guys, I think I will take it to the shop this Sat. to get it check up. If the sway link is dead, I may just change to Comptech at the same time. If it's motor mount... ...hope not.
