you can get the ecu for under 200. Plus it will be a hell of alot faster and more fun, AND if you ever decide to want to pony up the money for a SC, they at least make the SC (and you will be able to find it) for the type-s motor!

Yea the motor, ECU, and wiring harnesses. I can even put in the trans for now and just not get the module and drop in the motor and ECU later.

In past searches ive seen them for under 200.

Still thats 300 dollars for quite a bit more power. Cheaper and more power than any other mod you can do!

I did some pricing on the IACV today.

Local dealership = $167
Local NAPA = $127
Online dealer = $115

I found another Pick-N-Pull yard here so I am going to go by there when I get a chance and see if they have any 99-03 TL's or CL's or 98-02 Accords.

Well, I went there and they didn't have any of those cars in. They had two 98 2.2 CL's but that's it.

I'm going to start stripping the interior tonight and am going to be selling some of the parts. I believe someone already called dibs on the cup holder insert? I'm also going to sell the chrome trim piece around the shifter and subtledreamer's black/clear PRND321 thing I bought a while back. Everything's in good condition, I'll make a thread in the BM when I get them out.

Well, I started stripping the interior and it looks like the lines for the e-brake are already in the cabin -- Look at the video here. I don't know how I haven't noticed that all the times I've had my interior apart.

Yea I think it's just gonna be a direct bolt in now. Just need to remove the cable coming from the stock e-brake and just attach the new one right where they (the cables) are.

Oh, I forgot to add another symptom.

Sometimes when I put the key in the ignition and turn the key on nothing happens.
I'll even turn it to the second click (ACC) and still nothing.
I have to turn it halfway to cranking and then everything (all the red lights on dash, CD player) turns on.

Yes, thats how it attaches. The stock foot cable gets unhooked from the T. You install the parts from my list with the Ebrake handle there. If you also look you will see on the floor there is spots ( need to be carefully driled out) and the mounting holes are there with the nuts welded to the bottom side of the car for the E brake!

Nice catch.

Haven't really started yet, just taking all the panels off and getting the interior apart. Then it got dark and started raining on me and I haven't been home in the light again to work on it any more. I've got all the plastic panels, center console, CD player out and i just need to get the seats and carpet up. That just reminded me to pick up the cabin air filter while I have everything apart. It's about time to replace them anyway.

Rain or shine, we're getting this done. lol I just got paid $900 for building a network for this small office... I threw down $100 for the ww kit i'll be getting, $415 for the e-manage, paying my cell bill and then putting away money to go ahead and come up to you. I'll be getting another check today... this is awesome. As for your conversion, i'll bring work lights and those thick orange extension cords. I found a hoist as well, i just have to go check it out and pick it up.. it's for $80 on craigslist

I finally got home when it's still light out

I'm going to strip the interior a little more and try and clean out this IACV one more time and see if that solves my idling problem.

Innovative motor mounts, Random Technology high flow cat, maybe end up getting the wheels powdercoated gunmetal or black. I might not b/c my cousin has an 06 TL and is getting new wheels before the summer so I might get those from him.

Everything but the springs needed to be done. Motor mounts are shot, cat was clogged, and shocks were on their way out. I figured I might as well get the springs on while I was at it b/c I got a good deal on them on the Black Market.

Car looks much bigger without front seats I think putting in black carpet would look decent, though I think tan carpet in a black interior is the sex

It would be a lot easier to keep clean

Just so everyone knows, there is a lightbulb for the bottom part of your center console. There is a little blue piece right above the power outlet and the light is behind there.

Take off your console so you can remove the flip part.

Under it you will see a cord running up through a square hole and then right back down. Twist the back part left and there's the light, probably burned out. A nice LED might be nice in there to light up your center console.

It kind of feels like it's rubbing somewhere when I slide it back. I'm pretty sure I know where it is but it's a little too late here to finish it off with the Dremel. I'll have to wait until morning.

It's just the one out of the CL-S. I think I got it for $38 shipped on eBay.

I slept in way too late today, I don't know how much work I'm going to get done today .
