Talking

When I de-badge the acura badge, i did the following:
1.) parked out in the sun
2.) some hot water
3.) a good shop rag
4.) goof-off

use the hot water to loosen up some of the glue and gunk. using your thumb start peeling off the glue as much as possible, once you see that you cant break off anymore. hold the rag a little below the glue and squirt the goof-off over the glue and try to let it set. then using your thumb (again) start to rub off the gunk, repeat a couple more times till its off, then using hot water again clean off any excess gunk.

NOTE: Goof-Off doesnt work unless it has time to set, specially if its super glue or a strong type of glue. Trust me, I use this makes-me-high wonder clearner all the time........

Acetone usually works for super glue. Not 100% sure.

acetone will also take away color, kill clear coat, and do other damages,

let goo off sink in. then rub it off.
using turtle soft paste polishing compound (green packaging) really helped me remove that black glue from the car. better than goo off.

It shouldn't be attached with super glue.. it should be attached with 3M tape.. which should come off with Goo Gone.

If super glue was used to attach the emblems... (although I don't know what kind of idiot would do such a thing) then you can remove the super glue residue with Acetone.

Don't know what acetone is? Well, you can try to go find some at a hardware store, or another store or, go down to your local drug store and go get nail polish remover.

Yup you heard me. Nail Polish Remover.

Very good advice, I used goof off the first time I debadged and polishing compound the second time. The polishing compound worked a lot better, not to mention it didn't remove any wax.

From the way it's described, he's taking the glue off the back of the badge (already removed). I don't think it's mounted on the car.

I still think he's talking about removing it from the trunk.
