I made a thread when I should have just posted here and then I screwed the title up. So I'll ask again here.

Does the USA Spec unit come with instructions. I got mine yesterday and all that was in the box was the unit, car cable, and iPod cable. I have a hard time believing not a single sheet of paper was supposed to be inside.
Mine came with instructions, I can scan them up tomorrow but I have also got a 5 minute video showing me doing it so I will post that tomorrow also.

OK, I am still confused. I am getting ready to install mine and am reading this thread again. The instructions are saying that the XM module is in the trunk, but all you are talking about removing the radio. WHY?!?!?! When I mentioned this in another thread recently it was like I imagined it and was told that all connections are in the trunk. But here it is, all the talk about the hidden screws and removing the radio.

You should probably stick to instal threads that are about the brand you bought and not get confused in a thread about multiple brands that install differently.

Especially since you are already getting the correct info: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-90/should-aspec-unit-come-instructions-856816/

OK, thanks for clearing that up. I was not aware I was reading about a different brand. I'm glad I got the one that mounts in the trunk. It would be nice not to have to mount the unit under the dash at all and just run the ipod and rca cables to the center console from the trunk mounted adaptor.

Don't know if anyone will even reply to this but, I'm actually in Hawaii, and the models in Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada don't have an XM button. Will I still be able to install these products with proper function? Also, my CD player doesn't read CD's, but I stream all my music via Spotify anyway.
