Sold My RL Recently

Sorry to say, I traded my RL this week. Although it was one of the best vehicles I've ever owned, I'm just a 2-door coupe guy at heart. I hope I don't regret my decision, but my 50th birthday is this month and I decided to treat myself to another toy. Unfortunately, the winter is due shortly here in New England and trading the AWD RL for a RWD vehicle isn't the brightest move ... But then again, nobody ever said I was smart.

I may stop back from time to time ... This was a nice hangout.

Take care,

Well, what midlife crisis toy did you trade your RL for?

I've been into Corvettes since the 70's and still own a restored '66 big block roadster ... Keeping the same theme, I opted for an XLR in a matching color (silver/black). Come summer, I'm hoping to get some nice pix with both hardtops up, and then the tops dropped ... Should make for a kool photo concept.

Ciao,

Giving compz to the RL ... To me, it has a much nicer interior, better sound system and far superior paint job than the XLR. If only I could have welded the back two doors ... Like I did in this old Photocop example: CLICK HERE
