Just lowered the car with H&R
Just lowered the car with H&R
The shop www.zahntechauto.com said it took them 5.5 hours for the job, because they said that they had to remove the complete rear suspension components to install the springs...
I even discovered a new chip on my rear passenger door....
5.5 hours for a professional shop to swap the springs!!!!
Anyway, all is done and it won't help anything to regret going there. I am happy with how the car looks and handles..
Pics to come...

It's already dark outside - hey, maybe I will take some night photos! j/k
I will take some photos tomorrow after work.
I am seriously considering Enkei SC05 18's. The cost of tires go way up with you upgrade from 18's to 19's. Plus I would think the ride quality should be retained by 18's. Also, the high performance all season tire I want "Potenza RE960AS Pole Position" doesn't come in 245/40/19....
When the temperature is up I will hopefully get started on fixing the chips. I got all the material (sanding paper, compound, polish, etc)...

They did not remove the entire rear suspension.

The stealthy wheels hopefully won't be on for too long. The ride quality is really good. I would say that the springs are probably 5%-10% stiffer than the OEM. It is really not noticeble at all!
I have a set of H&R sport springs on my 2000 Accord Coupe. They make really good springs, giving the right look and feel without sacrificing comfort. I'm quite happy with my H&R springs.
BTW, do you have any before after side by side pics? or just a straight side shot???

I haven't gotten the alignment yet, I was thinking of getting it after I upgrade the wheels... Photoshoot, sure thing!
Yup, H&R springs only. The stock dampers are really good. I had Comptech springs on my previous TL for 6 years without a problem with stock dampers.
35% all around.
Accutint in downtown Bellevue did a great job. There number is 425-213-1060. I paid 400 bucks for the Pinnacle ceramic tint.
