That's an M45 (aka Fuga) with a V8, so to get our RL to sound like that, we'd need to replace our J35 with a V8. I agree on the quad tips, though. Those look great!

 

wonder if that leaf was strategically placed there to fly into the camera...

Otherwise...why have a quiet RL interior if you're going to increase noise with different exhaust...

 

Does anyone know where I can find a muffler system that has quads? I have been looking around magnaflow and tanabe.

Question: What is the inlet size for the RL? Along with the Width,Length and Height for the tips. I think some cutting may have to be involved.

I can't wait 'til I get a V-8 with over 400 horses that'll sound like that. One day, one day...

 

I thought you going with the 5 Zigen setup, what happened?
If you want easy mod just look for quad tips and remove the muffler, it might sounds a bit loud but nice.

1500$ for an exhaust system? Im not rich like bob I am looking to just get more of a throaty sound.

 

Go aftermarket with Magnaflow mufflers which are a tad deeper on tone vs Dynamax.

At least that is my setup shortly. Had the same on my SC300 years back and it sounded good.

 

Be different and spend half of 1500 and just go with the Apexi WS2 universals!. so far my Tanabe Hyper medallion setup is like music to my ears

 

No one is selling the 5zigen for less than $1500? Man, have the prices gone up on that, I wouldn't have paid $1500 either. No wonder you want me to move to a CTS-V so you can get mine!

Is there a Hyper Medalion setup for the RL/Legend? You have this? I've heard it on the S2000 and it's sweeeeeeeet, and not too loud.

The infinaties have a sexy note to them, even the G35's sound nice!

 

I got the universal Tanabe Hyper medallion and had the custom piping made for my RL frmo the resonator back. you can see the pics I have posted up in my thread, Very low key and deep until I hit wide open throttle
