Car Violated / Insurance Question

My car was broken into last night and took everything in the car including laptop, sunglasses, and golf clubs. Although the home insurance will cover majority of the stuff, I'm worried about the car insurance.

I have allstate as my insurance company. The thiefs made a small hole on my driver seat and some people are telling me that they are not going to be covered.

Does anybody have any experience in these things? It's my first time and I'm not sure what the insurance company will cover.

Thanks In Advance

John

well i will speak about state farm since i work for state farm.. you are right when it comes down to covering your laptop, sunglasses, and golf clubs your home will cover these items subject to your deductible...

now your car problems are also subject to your deductible. now the window and any damages to ur interior are covered items under Comprehensive Coverage. What happened to you ins considered Vandalism. so allstate should cover this. then again allstate is weird lol

but good luck..

Hate thieves and liars. Sorry to see this. Hopefully the clubs were not Taylor Mades or similar.

Thanks for the information. I just wanted to know what to expect when I drive in to the adjuster.

The golf clubs were callways.

Bummer.
Did the thieves enter the trunk for the laptop and clubs?
