I have the spacer & 09 IM. I tried to install the spacer and the electrical connector at the back of the TB was too high. I am going to try cutting a hole in the hood liner above it to see if that gives enough room, it is about 1/4" too high.

Ive heard nothing but good things about them. I think tjeres a guy down here with an old school datsun with that turbo. Im in love with the back housing on that turbo too.

lot of the 4 banger mustangs and dsm love this turbo. i got it for free but it was hurt. new shaft and rebuilt and its good to go

its another type s head from my spare engine. i dont want my cl to be out of commission so im building my spare engine. should be getting the block sleeved next month or early april. than all the goods are going to get bolted up

heres the turbo manifold bolted up and nitrous foggers installed

our engines, j32a1/a2 it just the back valve cover so u dont see it. which is stupid and u cant put the rear cover up front.

The heads look nice, but Im curious as to how cooling is affected with the entire head being coated.

thats why we have radiators, and im gonna have nitrous. so that should help out seeing how its gonna be my fun car and ill spray every time i drive it

you still got coolant going through them for the cooling, but yes coating them will make them run a little hotter due to the loss of being able to radiate the heat off effectively just from air flow past them

The issue I see is the downpipe clearance. It looks like the turbo is positioned so far up and over towards the fender a 3" downpipe will be hitting the headlight.

Rajca - Did you ever do a test fit?

it was test fitted on my tl. the down pipe him the trans. but the 6spd has a huge hole for it down pipe is close to the headlight but im gonna wrap it and hope for the best. need a slip radiator fan (already have) bc the front manifold will hit the fans.

it would probaly be a good idea to do the mugen cooling mods or just take your thermostat out completely so you dont blow a head gasket. btw that turbo is enormous!

That's the biggest turbo i've seen on for this car so far. (Besides ThinJim but his is a dragster)
