Sounds good. I've already had to replace two of mine. I have a Type-S all stock.

I just got back word I need a new front mount, and passenger side mount. Going to probably change them all out. Looking for some good aftermarket mounts ASAP also.

I think RUF has left the building. He hasnt replied in days, so this is probably another failed motor mount options thread

have faith...people do have their own lives to worry about besides some motor mount testing.

I'm sure if it's all working dandy then you'd have responses up the ass. So maybe he's troubleshooting or something.

Point is. just gotta cross ur fingers an hope for the best. Which usually works LOL

Yes, good attitude! Was hoping to swap mine this week tho and dread to go with OEM or the set of all 5 on eBay... May have to go that route though, at least temporarily.

I think the company making the mounts made the 3g TL mounts first and are testing those. So the CL mounts probably have yet to be made. Ruf is still posting here, just not giving us updates.

Keep faith, lets not rush it. Thats when things dont come out correctly or at all.

Sorry, I knew there wouldn't be any updates for a few weeks so I've been lurking else where. Anyway, I called to see what's going on and got their voice mail, so probably out for the holiday. I'll give them another call this week if I don't hear back.

Oh man... I think that's my case... When the engine is idle and the A/C is on it vibrates wayyyyyy too much.

sigh . . . more good news-bad news.

The bad news is those that really need mounts now will have to wait some more or do something temporary. Sorry, wish there was better news.

For the rest of us, here's the exact quote I just got today.

"Mounts were installed on the car at the fabricator's shop; they have had to make one or two changes so I'm waiting to hear back from them. I want them to be as best as they can be before I start sending them out."

For those needing something now, there are 2 or possibly 3 options.

1) Replace with an OEM mounts . . yes, a waste of money but if yours are completely ruined you will have to do something.

2) If they're not totally ruined, then you can go with the poly filled solution. This is a good and cheap alternative.

3) For those that want to risk going with just an Innovative front mount, this works . . . assuming it's the 3rd gen mount like the one I have. I installed the 3rd gen back in October of 2008 and it's still holding up.
That said, they'd need to be cheaper than OEM options . . .

My 2cents is that I won't give Innovative any business again as they left us high and dry with a product that didn't work . . .

Bottom line is that we're looking at another 2 weeks or more depending on how the 2 changes pan out.

Thanks! I appreciate your efforts Ruf, and will definitely be trying to hold out as mine are not GONE yet.

Do we know if the company will be producing replacements for all the mounts? or just the more common front and passenger side ones? Those are what I need, but I just assume replace everything at the same time and with the same brand.

Im still on board. Just keep us updated. Id like to stiffen my mounts up some. Right now Im running 80A poly filled mounts. While they are nice, they arent stiff enough for me.

well . . getting closer . . the final pre-production units are close to being sent to the vendor . . I'm guessing that means they've passed the manufacturer's testing . . we should be the first to know.

Great news! I've still been able to hold out! . Any chance if you know if they will have ll the mounts available, or just specific? My mecanic recommended the front and passenger side, but I want to do them all if possible.

I know the plan was to offer the set of 3 (front, rear and side). However, depending on how the rears work out I'd hope someone could order just the front and side. We'll see soon . .

Do you have specs on them? Are they being offered in different stiffness?

The plan was to offer different stiffness . . . I'll check next week to see if that is still the plan . . we also asked for a radius rod bushing, but no feed back on that either . . this'll give me something to ping them about next week.

Yo Mike . . . where've you been lurkin'?

Yeah, sort of. The test mounts are being sent to the vendor. The vendor is working on locking in on a suitable test car. If one isn't found soon it's possible that set will be sent to me. If it turns out that way I will let everyone know. And sorry, it's my understanding that there are only a couple . . so no extras for any of us.

Anyway, things are still moving forward so that we get a solid product this time.
