Jet Hot

I just shipped out some used CT headers I bought from Scott (AcuraCl1). I can't wait till I get them back...

Shipping was $35... and then $202.50 for them to coat them in their sterling finish and ship it back to me.

BTW: My AlphaWerks will be going up on sale when I get these back.

Its deff. worth it. Makes them look brand new consistently and no color changing.

At work and can't see pics (dammit). Did you guys send out just the runners or both the runners and the downpipe? I sent both and they charged me a little extra than what they originally quoted. (Clowns)

They charged you extra? Call them up and have them explain why. They should only charge you for the 3 items, usually regardless of length.

the 2 collectors are relatively cheap, its the downpipe that adds more money. it shouldnt run much more than 250 shipped.

The collectors were quoted at a good price. The downpipe is what "spoiled the fun". I had to send them to the AZ location too because the MS location was backed up.

you guys might be able to save a few bucks by looking in your local area for similar coating shops. I found one in the lauderdale area that was about 30% cheaper on coating with no shipping involved. They do the same process as jet hot. It's a good mod, you guys will like it and it doesn't lose it's luster. Mine still look like I just had them coated.

I was wondering why Ryan was answering for Veeral...

I remember when one of the TL mods wanted to ban chopper and teh snaps 'cause he thought they were the same person w/ 2 accounts... Good Times !!

You guys have to stop posting threads like this... It's like jewelry for cars

while we're on the topic of high temp coating... has anyone thought about doing their entire exhaust? i've heard that doing the converters and piping creates a smoother flowing passage, and also keeps the exhaust gases hotter.

got the idea from the do-luck exhaust systems:

Both pieces look great. Nice job Veeral on Jet Hot coating of the headers. They look good. And the exhaust coating looks good too. Sometimes though that will crack and bubble and look nasty if you don't get a high enough temp rating.
