I'm pretty sure this hasn't been asked yet

Okay, so I want to do the comptech springs, but am concerned about the amount of drop in the back end......here is why......I am a bowler.....yes a bowler. And at any given time there can be as many as 10 bowling balls in my trunk which tends to lower the back end anyway. If I put springs on the car I am assuming that I will not be able to carry this amount of weight in the trunk b/c it may make the car to low.

My other question ....... if I did the comptech springs and the yellow konis, would that give me enough versatility to be able to carry that much weight and still have a good ride on the car?

And it is okay to laugh all you want at the fact that I'm a bowler, I get it all the time. But if you want to play for some $$$ Bring it!!

My Tl-S has the springs and a body kit, and I don't have any problems with 2 people in the back seat. What's 10 bowling balls weigh- about 160lbs? Should be no problem.

with comptech springs you will still be able to carry all that weight in the rear...

I assume 10 balls means 150lbs at most.

Not a problem assuming your not gonna run the slalom with them in there.

Comptechs give your car a "raked" look... and their not much of a drop in the back to begin with... so with that weight... its just gonna make your car look a lil more even... not saggy.

Comptechs would be the perfect choice for you.

There shouldnt be any issues.

btw, I have my car dropped much lower then comptechs... I had about 150lbs in my trunk this weekend without a problem. Thats on top of my system which already weighs somewhere in the 50-100lb range.

What lanes are you typically at?? I won't take up that offer as my bowling skills are not the best. I prefer to have my pitcher of beer and roll an occaisional ball.

Would you still suggest doing the comptechs with the Konis??

Well then don't even consider H&Rs or Eibachs, which both lower the front AND back an even amount (so any amount of trunk weight will give you the "saggy-ass" look) and to a lower setting (2" all around vs 1" comptech rear and 1.5" comptech front). Comptech springs should be perfectly fine.

Wayne, do you guys typically realign headlights after installing Comptech springs? Since I've had mine installed I've noticed that my headlights don't throw light as far as they used to, and I'm assuming it's because of the rake pointing the front of the car more downward then it was stock.
