Post High Flow Cat

Does anyone know of any bolt on high flow cats for an 03 cl-s 6 sp? Also is there a difference between 6 sp and A/T for this part like there is for others?

Thanks!

SEARCH for random technology Cat. i believe excelerate sells them on the forum.

first link with some general info
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...dom+technology

and where they are sold
https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/random-technology-high-flow-cat-sale-tsx-cl-tl-350743/

in the first link it should discuss the widening of the mounting plate holes and extending the O2 sensor wires that must take place on the 6spd.

I don't know of any aftermarket cat that is a direct bolt-on to the Type-S (auto or 6speed). The Random Tech cat is a direct bolt-on for the CL-P, and as stated earlier, requires slight modification to the flange. Personally, I would buy a universal R/T cat (with the larger inlet) and have a muffler shop weld the correct flange(s) to bolt up to the factory down pipe and b-pipe.

i have the rt cat for my 6 speed. rt only makes one model and it is a direct fit for the cl-p as stated. i got it to fit my cls6 with minor modification. nothing you could not do yourself with a drill and drill bit. basically need to drill the holes out a little larger so that the holes will line up better to the header and b pipe. excellent mod

you got to mess with the flanges. also the cl-s cat is longer than the cl-p's

are you sure? the cat is different, but the physical length i believe is the same, since all catbacks fit the cl-s and cl-p.

The RT cat bolts up to the Type S and Premium model jsut the same. Both require extension of the 02 wires, but the Type S requires slightly enlarging the holes on the flange on the B-pipe to cat. And from what I understand from other members you don't even need to modify the flange if you have a stock exhaust.
