AC fan noise

Is anyone else's AC fan loud? When I first get in my car after work, and its been in the sun for hours, the AC comes on high and the fan is loud as heck. Don't know if its just me or if anyone else has experienced this issue. Here is a video of it :

drop the clove box and you will see the bottom of the fan motor. grab it and rock it back and forth and the noise will stop. let me know how you make out. I had this problem myself.

I haven't had any fan noise in the TL, but in both of my previous MDX's the dealer replaced the fan motors under warranty due to the fan noise.

On the lowest speed position I find my fan to be louder than expected for an upscale vehicle.

It sounds like you have sucked something into the fan (like a leaf or something). The fan sounds like it is hitting something. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get into the fan on my TL. Could some air box gasket material have come loose? Worst case you may have a fan bearing going but I think in that case the sound would not go away as you turned the fan up.

After watching your video, I have to say that I agree with dvd2012tl...sounds like the bearing in the blower motor which means replacement of the fan motor.

It sounds like a leaf or something is in the way internally and causing vibration
