Bold words my friend. I'm sure your gonna have a nice system but don't come out saying it's gonna top anything. Talk shit when you got shit to talk not just a carved out car with so so components. No one is riding Astro's jock his car is unbelievably awesome and well rounded with top shelf components, functionality and some really neat tricks to it. If your car is as good as his I'll be the first to tell you but until then it's nothing but talk.

 

wow what a mess...looks like its coming along though. I think its a little early to pass judgement though, like soopa said ya really cant say that about another ride till the final product. Who knows it might not even come out as tight as you want it to!

 

Hey soopa, its all good man, you guys need to chill. Obviously, i must be missing something here. Maybe Astroboy has redone something to his car I haven't seen? I guess its been a while since I have seen his pics. Once again, I think Astroboys car is HOT, no question. Since I am supposedly buying "subpar" brands I guess I am on a different level than Astroboy. He paid much more for better speakers than me and thats fine. His install is stealth from what I recall, just not creative in my opinion. And you guys are right-these pics dont mean shit untill its done-I only posted because people wanted proof of what I was doing. I dont see any other CL going to these extremes. So what if so far I only have the body kit on, even the body kit isnt 100% yet. There are many more things being installed that hasnt gotten done yet. For all the hating I learned a lesson-I wont post any more pics! You can see the car when it hits the magazines!

 

All the pros say its 90% install, and 10% equipment. Just because someone isnt using Focal/Dyn or other equipment doesnt mean it wont sound better. I bet that almost all of you have not heard Focals Dyns and Rainbows in the same car. Im anxious to see the pics when its done. I like the kick panels so far.

AcuraJL...I love JL Audio stuff. I see no point in spending $3K in a set of components...or $10K on amps. I've heard Rainbows, Focals, MB Quarts, and DynAudios and I can honestly say I'm HAPPY with my "shitty" JL XR650s. I'm sure you system will be tight as hell...I can't wait to see the final product

 

i'm pretty sure astro's trunk wouldn't be concidered stealth.


and there is another cl around here with extensive mods. including a direct port nitrous setup, and full custom kit w/ molded fender flares.
