1st American made Maxima rolls off the line

Well, the Maxima is now made here in Tennessee instead of Japan. Wonder how the quality will compare? The Altima is/was also built at this plant.

Maxima's quality was always better than Altima's, now it will probably be the same.

I'd wait few years to see if it has problems.... first production is always faulty.... ( new country, new plant, new workers, new design )... to much can go wrong

Yeah... The Maxima is hideous. Looks even worse in person IMO.. Inside the quality feels cheap too compared to the older Maxima's

This is not good news. In fact, it was not good news since I heard this last year. Now that news is reality and one less brand that is built in Japan. The only thing left now is Germans, until they bring themselves here as well.

Acura quality suffered here and so did the quality of the Altima. I imagine something similar is up for the Max as well. I would like to be wrong, but somehow I dont think I am.

And Oh yeah, it's freaking ugly on top of that.
