The emblems on the trunk are wayy off. Prob not a type S, they just slapped the badge on the CL-P along with the A C U R A. But the price is good, at least better than what I paid for my salvage. but its from florida, so its probably flood damaged or something. Its got the 01-02 roadlamps on it too, hmm...

Also, the sideview mirrors look huge like the 01's and I don't think they are tinted like the 02-03's.

But the exhaust is def an 03, so I guess it was just put back together with crap.

Oh and the woodgrain...

On the type-s, its supposed to be silver in the black interior. Not woodgrain

So further proof that its not a type-s

response received: "i don't really know the difference"

I agree, but a Junk title says that the car was damaged past salvage to where they say that they should only use the parts from the car and nothing else...

Oh well. I have to agree since my first 2 CL's were both salvage titles which were rebuilt and put back on the road

My response back to him:

"You should probably change the title to 2003 Acura CL. The difference is at least a thousand dollars or two, 40 horsepower, different wheels, firmer suspension, sportier seats, nicer interior trim. The only parts on your car from a type S are the badge on the back and the shift knob. Just my two cents..."

My CL-S is a salvage too but this...its like a frankenstein of a CL. its got parts from different years: maybe 01-02 bumper considering the roadlamps, 01-02 mirrors so maybe 01-02 doors and since the badges are messed up, maybe the trunk lid was replaced. and thats only the stuff we can see.

best of luck to the dummies buying this car. lets hope it doesnt wind up on acurazine or else im gonna

well my CL-S had to have hood, driver and passenger fender replaced and possibly the trunk and rear bumper and front bumper but its nearly seemless. I say if the car was wrecked that bad to have that many parts to be replaced then just leave it for parts only and not rebuild it. or rebuild it right.

Lying son-of-a-bitch! If he didn't know the difference why the fuck would he try so hard to hock a CL-P as a "REAL FAST" CLS? I can't stand lying ass son-of-a-bitches.

well it says "Super Fast", so it don't really matter if it's a Type-S or not...seriously, what's the big deal...if the car is fast, it's fast...no need for a badge to tell you that...

Come on fellow A-Ziners, i thought you were smarter than all the badge whores.

Except the fact that the Type-S is a different motor.
