My advice would be if you don't want your car to sound like shit go with a good brand. If you want a nice deep growl, get Magnaflows, or something of the sort. Anything else, especially anything Megans, will sound like shit.

Get the Magnaflows 14832's. At ~$160 shipped for a pair at hottexhaust.com (use coupon code 'hottsavings') they are a steal.

But wait, they also look and sound great (youtube for video clips)

I've had them on for close to two years and I think they produce a nice deep growl and roar at high RPMs (not like fart cans).

Those sir are fart cans. They are HUGE & will look really stupid on the rear of a CL.

I recommend the Magnaflows 14832, they tuck in very well under the CLs bumper, look, sound good.

Something that looks big but sound decent: HKS Superdragger
it looks extremely big with respect to the rest of the car, but it isnt loud at all.

When people refer to my car, they always say, "Oh, you are the one with the black acura and two huge exhausts?"

Comptech, HKS, or Magnaflow. Please please please don't put 3.5"+ tips on a CL, it'll ruin it. BTW, I've never seen a 6 inch muffler, and if you're into horrible sound and performance but want to say "Yah I gots da mufflrrrs!!!", then you might want to look into d16 civics 6 cyl mustangs. Keep it clean with the good brands, and decently small mufflers.

HKS and Magnaflow both have 4" diameter openings. Comptech has 3.5" as well.
