Keep Blowing Fuse

Every time I try to recharge my phone I blow the fuse that runs the power sockets. I have tried different chargers/phones and it blows every time. Is this something that I should address to the dealership? BTW, it is fuse #9 in the fuse box by the clutch pedal.

What amp fuse have you been replacing it with?
Are you replacing it with a fuse with the exact same amps everytime?

Can you plug other DC devices in without the fuse blowing?
Have you been able to use the charger in other cars without any problems?

Make sure there is no foreign object (ie: coin, staple, small metal anything) stuck in the actual plug jack. The #1 killer of fuses on a repeat basis is usually a foreign object. If you're cool there, just make sure you're using the right amp fuse and also make sure your phone charger isn't a complete POS.

Thanks a ton Kurt! There was a piece of my old cell charger still in there. Works fine now.

I had a hunch. Good to hear you're good to go again.
