I have CONDENSATION IN MY HEADLIGHTS.. what do i do?
I was cleaning off my car from all the snow we got here last night in North Jersey and i noticed i have some slight fogging in my driver - side headlight. the lil tip of the headlight closest to the acura emblem on the hood. now im supposed to have my angel eyes installed this commin friday, can i tell them to do something? is it from a bad seal to the headlight? i mean ill get the JDM headlights if i need to but wanted to see what ya'll thought. thanks

I have condensation/moisture in my headlights. The passenger side has more than the drivers side but clearly i have it.
Took it to the dealer, they couldn't reproduce it and told me unless it has water in it, cant replace.
The clips have been installed already as well from the previous owner.
The excuse is crap and im taking it to another dealer to get the headlights replaced i mean c'mon, it's a recall. Search and see how many others have had theirs replaced.
I dont want my bulb to blow

yea no reason for that and there is nothing u can do yourself as the headlight is a sealed unit....expensive replacement too. a trick ive tried is getting either heat or air inside the headlight(compressed air or hairdryer), this may remove the condensation but def isnt a permanant fix as the problem will most likely persist. good luck!
^^ The dealer should have it in their database crossfiled under your VIN. If the recall was performed and they swapped out the lights completely then you wouldn't be able to tell. If they didn't swap the lights out then they would have installed metal clips to keep pressure on the seal. Take a look at the FAQ section where the TSB (Technical Service Bulletins) are listed. There should be a link to the TSB for the headlight moisture problem where you can see exactly where and how the tech is instructed to place the clips.

Sorry if I'm repeating what other's said.
You need at least two metal clips holding the top of the clear cover to the housing. These ensure a tight seal. Also, make sure you have a salt bag inside of each headlight. It should be located next to the low beam igniter.

I had mine serviced and they replaced my passenger side headlight. For the driver side, they inserted clips but I guess it didn't work. I tried going back to the dealer and telling them it didn't work and still moisture still builds up. I was denied the claim.
