Experienced my first problem on my 06 TSX. Car would not start, Errror message "Check Emissions System", towed to nearest Honda dealer (my Acura dealer is 90 minutes away). ECM went bad according to Honda dealer, $900 to replace.

Since I only have 14,000 miles on the car I called the Acura dealer for consideration. Waiting to hear back.

Has anyone had their ECM go bad? How much to replace?

 

This is extremely rare. You are only the second person I know of who has experienced problems with the ECM. The only other case I can remember is another person whose ECM went bad because the heater core above it started leaking and drenched the ECM.

Are you the original owner or did you buy the car used? Do you have any modifications?
