well, helms makes the manuals for our car.
so helminc.com is where you would go to buy one.

it has all of the wiring diagrams and schematics and all of that stuff.

mine says the following:
fuse no. 15 / BACK UP, ACC / amps: 40A / Protects: Fuse 7 in under-hood fuse/relay box,
Fuses 5,6,7,8 and 9 in under-dash fuse/relay box

so I guess it protects other fuses?

and more detail:
Fuse 7 under-hood is: BACK UP / 7.5A amps / Relay control module
Fuse 5 under-dash is: Dashboard wire harness (left branch)
Fuse 6 under-dash is: Dashboard wire harness (left branch)
Fuse 7 under-dash is: Option connector
Fuse 8 under-dash is: Floor wire harness (left branch)
Fuse 9 under-dash is: Floor wire harness (left branch)

scratch that last part there.
I quoted the 5-9 under-dash wrong.

the correct info is as follows:

Under-Dash Fuse:
5: AUDIO AMP: 20A / Stereo Amplifier

6: INTR LIGHT: 10A / Ambient light, Audio unit, Ceiling light, Driver's vanity mirror light,
Driver's door courtesy light, Front passenger's vanity mirror light, Front passanger's door
courtesy light, HandsFreeLink control unit, Individual map lights, Trunk light

7: BACK UP: 10A / Combination switch control unit, Driving position memory switch,
Gauge control module, Immobilizer control unit-receiver, Imoes unit ('07-'08), MICU,
Navigation display unit (Navigation), Navigation unit (Navigation), Power seat control unit,
Power window master switch, Wiper/washer switch

8: DOOR LOCK: 20A / MICU

9: FR ACC SOCKET: 15A / Accessory power socket relay

parasitic draw?

I have a 2006 TL and my battery continues to die on me. Dealership says battery is good and a draw of 0.23 - 0.61amps (fluctuating ) is normal. THEN WHY? Any ideas

Over half an amp of draw when the car is off??? Wow that sounds like a lot to me.

I assume they checked the alternator.

Take the car to Autozone and ask them to connect thier battery tester. You can watch the results for yourself. There is no charge for that.

If that shows good then you may have a difficult problem finding the problem. Could be a door switch. I had a buddy who had a bad starter that drained the battery (not an Acura) and that was pretty hard to find.

The amps fluctuated to .61amps for approx. 4 sec's then back down to .23amps. The Mechanic at Acura didn't even flinch, as if it was normal or he seen it before and has no idea what it could be. I told him that I pulled fuse #6 and #7 . One stopped the fluctuation and the other reduced the amps by .28amps. He didn't seem to care and scratched his head....hmmph

What fuse would I have to pull to stop the radio buttons or the radio itself from working?
The lights on my radio don't turn off when the car is off and they are drawing power constantly which ends up killing my battery.

On the TL side, we have lots of threads concerning this.
your HFL is the culprit.
disconnect it, and or replace it.

I have the same problem. Did you get it fixed? If so, what was the issue?
