VSA light???

Sorry, if this is a repeat, but i did a search and could not find a related thread.

Have your VSA light ever come on? I mean has it ever started blinking, which means its in action?
Mine hasnt ever. I have lived in Colorado, and I remember, that even driving in the snow, it have never shown up on its own. Once I got stuck in the snow, and my wheel was at 3000 rpm, but my car wasnt moving. It dint come on at that time either.
BTW my VSA light is working though...lol
Thanks, in advance

Mine comes on all the time.

Is it just the light that doesn't come on, or does VSA also not come on (you really don't need the light to tell, it's very noticeable)?

well, what kind of difference do you feel when it comes on? And why should the light not come on.

I don't think I've ever noticed the light. I have noticed the cut in throttle coming out of a tight turn.

Mine has blinked on occasion - mostly when the tires were getting worn and the wheels were slipping a bit.

It kicks in once either one side of the wheele start spinning. when it kinks in, the VSA light on the dash will brink right the way doesn't matter what speed u travel. Also, it sounds like the noise of ABS when it kicks in. Basically VSA is functioning with the ABS. ABS actually kick in to synchronize the spinning of both wheeles to be at the same speed...............

I agree!!! even when one side of the wheele has more snow than the other... it start brinking right the way when u give a push to the gas padel!!!

but it saved me one time when I make a turn on a snowy road while I have the stock tire on.... I was going like 25km/h and my car went fish tailing. the stock on sucks in the snow!

Yeah, if you aren't looking at the light (and you probably shouldn't be, if you need it) it can be tough to notice. But it's impossible not to notice the throttle cutting out and one brake activating.

I've seen the light flash when I've spun the tires in snow. I've felt the VSA kick in when I've overcooked a turn, but didn't notice the light then, probably because I was too busy extracting my testicles from my stomach

If you can drift your TSX on a tight turn, you'll notice the vsa. whether you see the light or not, you shouldn't because you should be paying attention to your turn!

I've noticed the light blink at me when i've done hard launches on wet roads and slipped. Just another reason why i need better tires.

I just got mine lit this morning. Try to get a good start at the stop light on the onramp and one of my tires is in a puddle of water... so the VSA light lit up like a Xmas tree.

You put it much more descriptively than I did.
