I think the RL (maybe TL also?) has rear camera view option which you can see thru the navi screen. also has the beep/sensor option for when you are backing up..

so.. the question is, can any of these options be added to the TSX? any places where these mods can be purchased?

and has anyone modified their TSX for a rear camera / sensor mod?

I think the MDX only has that

 

Someone has one with the monitor in the rear view mirror. Can't remeber exactly who it was. Do a search and i'm sure you will find it.

 

Why would you want a camera to show you what's behind you? A real driver wouldn't need that! Use your mirrors!

I have a 03 MDX and have that. Glad to have it it worth every penny.. If 2k is not a problem, get it...

 

For $2k you might be able to hire someone to show up and guide you everytime you need to back up. Woah! Good thing my eyes work well and my neck still has the "full normal rotation" function.

 

Well, it included in the navi.. 2k with navi and backup camera in MDX!

 

The TSX isn't exactly easy to backup so this mod actually has some use compared to some of the other things people do to their cars.

I use my mirrors when reversing but I have to go much slower than other cars I've driven because I can't turn around and see over the back seats and out the back window easily. I'm 6ft tall, so I don't think height is an issue.

yeah i saw that thread.. i'd like to use the same navi screen.

if u can add it to the MDX as an addon, i wonder if dealer would install it on a TSX? im pretty sure the navi is about the same..

 

It came from the factory. Dealer did not thing. However, with the polit on that year, dealer has to install it.
