thin is good so it's good and flexible. to thick and it would jut out and look like blah. still....finished product as of yet?? inquiring minds would like to know.

I think it would look great as a factory option INSTEAD of the current wood trim. I have yet to see an add-on wood trim that looks good enough to put on my car. You can always see the orginal trim around the edges, and it always sits so high. I am sure it will look good though, I just couldn't bring myself to do it on my car. I WOULD consider having all the trim cstom painted to have an aluminum look, THAT would be sick! .... Hmmmm......

I bought the same trim as you did. I got it off of eBay about a year ago.

It looked really nice, except for the fact that the part around the radio wasn't wide enough (you could still see the wood very clearly.) And it just didn't seem to 'wrap' around the wood properly. I hope you install it and it looks good. I just know it's been sitting in the same box for a looong time now.

Goodluck

So how long is it until you get it installed?

If it fits well I think it will look very nice with the dark interior.

Good luck with it.

I took some mockup pics of the dash kit in my TL. I didnt' want to stick it on before seeing what it looked like first.

I'm at work atm, so i'll see if i still have some pictures of it when I get home.

EDIT

I have a beige interior btw.
