I can't decide which rim to go with on my 96 3.2 TL Premium, I know I don't want Chrome! My TL is Pearl white with dark tinted windows. I have narrowed it down to Black or Bronze wheels, and possibly a silver wheel. I am sorry I do not have a picture of my TL but look around on the forum and if you see a white 1st gen TL just use your imagination. Thanks and I hope these pics show up. Thanks for the feed back.

P.S. I am leaning towards the bronze because I think it will look sick with the Pearl white paint.

I say the last two, the silver outer rim would go great with the paint.

 

I like the second one down.

I think black is better for cars other than white. And more spokes gives it a more regal look. Less spokes are too racerish.

 

Nothing beats chrome, bro...but I'd get silver than black & white, and Have you seen those WRX's with the bronze wheels...? Horrible!

I think you should get the last pic rims. Scotty has OEM Type-S wheels. I think that the black would look really nice on a white car.

 

chrome ONLY looks good on dark colored cars. ie black
on a pearl white in order
1. silver finish
2. black
3. gunmetal
4. bronze
5. chrome

Not many peoplelikw the bronze that I choose but I found on that I think will look good with the pearl white, I am also still thinking about gun metal and they offer this wheel style in bronze, gunmetal, and silver. Keep in mind if I go bronze the windows will also have a bronze tint and I am going powder coat the embelems bronze also. Threw in a five spoke gunmetal and siver also.

see with a white car u can go silver, chrome and black or hyper black. i dont think it would look good on that bronze or gunmatel. but the style of the wheel looks good on any of them. ..

 

If you get the blacked out headlights i say go with the bronze. No one else has and it wont look bad by any means. If anything it will prolly look like the old type Rs with the Bronze Volk TE37s (which would be awsome by the way but damn expensive) and could be too race look for some. I really wanted the TE37s but then PIAA came out with the super rozza and i was sold.

 

Really?!? I wish my car were any color but the color I have. I think my wheels would look SICK on a white car. Mikeaccord's white TL looks amazing with chrome! Anyway, I DO like those 10 spokes. they look pretty good.

I think that the 10 spokes look pretty good too, but its got 10 lug holes. If it only have 5 lug holes it would look much cleaner. I wish i didnt have universal lug pattern on my wheels :sigh:

They were take-off's from a brand new '02 Acura 3.2 TL Type-S. I paid (only) $400 for the set and then another $550 to have them chromed. The center caps are off the brand new '05-'06 RL (Aspec I think). Just the "A" was chromed (OME) but I sent them in also to have the whole thing chromed.

 

If I go with the bronze 10 spoke and my car is white what color should I paint my rotors

 

im painting my calapers black. i cant think of any other color that would look good.
