No. Rims are a part of a wheel or the ghetto ass slang rappers use.

Wheels are the circular objects wrapped in rubber that make your car roll. Rims line the wheel and help keep the rubber on the wheel.

Rims also help secure a net to a basket or allow lids to secure to jars. But you dont buy rims for your car unless they are 22s and your ceiling is missing.
