RL Section Ramblings
I agree with the both of you gents.
I could use a tsx wagon right about now
I still miss my '02 Rav4, removing the seats allowed me to bring home 2 full size fridges, a washing machine, and a dryer (on separate occasions, of course lol). The Rav4 was much lighter, better of fuel, narrower, and 1/4 shorter than the RL. It was also 4 seconds slower in the all important 0-60
. Totally different animals, I know.
Here she is:

Btw, does the 05+ RL have split folding rear seats?

I don't post very often, but one thing I thought I'd mention is to make sure your tires are properly inflated.
Lately I've been feeling disappointed in the RL's handling abilities (or lack of) until today when I noticed one of the tires looked a little low. I inflated the tire (and the rest) to the proper levels (+1 or 2 psi for added firmness) and it made a world of difference. Turning the steering wheel is lighter and easier, the car stops quicker, and the car responds to quick steering inputs much faster and drama free. Truly an impressive difference. Moral of the story, make sure your tires are properly inflated.

Today is the day.
I just picked up a pearl white 2004 lexus GS430. Loaded with Mark Levinson, navi, wood steering wheel, chrome 17's and in great shape. Just brought it home, will hopefully detail it this weekend. I'll throw some pics up when I have some time. This is what I've been looking for for years, finally found it!
The V8 is amazing by the way. Now I just have to talk the wife into keeping the RL. We got rid of her Scion XB.

My sister totaled my RX330 last month so now I'm really looking for a minivan for the kids...preferably a Odyssey from 2005-08. If I do find a minivan, I'll still keep the RL for myself and sell my wife's Tc.
You got a great deal on that GS430. Looks to be in pristine condition. No door dings? That's unheard of, esp. in Milwaukee. The previous owner must have worked at home or parked a mile away from the closest car. But congrats on the new ride. Hopefully, you'll still keep the RL and attend the Milwaukee meet next month.

I installed the license plate bulbs to LED and it looks really good a night
I'll post some pictures of my car for you guys later on.
I wish our RL has timing chain so we don't have to worry about it! My brother and I are in the process of changing the timing belt and it's really a painful experience
Oh well, it's time to get back to work LOL

yeah yeah yeah.
I want to do some maintenance first. Going to replace my A/C filter and engine air filter. It's already tinted, need clay/buff/wax it (hopefully this weekend) and see the real condition.
When I was claying my 2005 TL, I noticed that I was missing the right A-spec side skirt
I hope I don't find too much on this one.

After 23k worry free miles (just about to roll over to 150k) I finally need to stick some money into the car. Need a new passenger upper control arm and rear sway bar links. Got a quote for $310 but I have a friend that works at a Honda dealer that will do the labor for about $50 and I'll find my own parts.
Good news - don't need struts
What a great car she has been!

^I try to use only OEM parts.
The car is in the shop now getting the work done, I hope that all the clunking stops.
It only spent 1 day on the road last week, otherwise been just sitting in the garage
Maybe I'll have "average" miles soon.

I have 3 cars and I really don't need a gas guzzler right now. The fact that I dumped it and gave it bigger rollers doesn't really help its consumption either. Hell.... my odyssey gets waaaaay better gas milage and it's lowered on 18's. Perhaps I will tinker with that bad boy. Granted, I will miss the luxuries.

For real?!
