Post Power Steering Issue

Power steering is very hard at low speed. No noise or grinding from anywhere, just stiff as heck.
Any thoughts?
Where can I find a reasonably priced repair manual? Local expert wants $150 w/ update?

How do you feel about doing it yourself and just buy new seals?

Ya, I intend to do all the work myself.

Are the seals for the rack and pinion or for the pump? I too am having this issue but it only happens sometimes so I think those seals you're talking about are on their way out

I second this, my steering does the same thing. If I can repair the OE parts with better seals I’d rather go that route.
