So I recently had my car checked out at the dealership for one of few problems. One mainly being the power steering (i'm assuming this is what it is). When the car is driven for a good period of time (about 30 minutes+) it starts to make a squeeling noise which I assume is the power steering when I turn the steering wheel all the way to right or left. The dealership said that there is no leaks coming from the power steering, but I honestly don't know what else could be the issue. Any input from you guys would be great as it is annoying and fraustrating trying to figure out this problem!

 

it may be a bad belt tensioner, have you had the recall done?

 

Is that the one that causes smoke to come into the cabin? If so, Ya that's the one I did. You think that could be the issue again? If it's squeeling?

 

No, the recall so the PS pump doesn't cause an engine fire! Acura had to put on new hoses and stuff to prevent it from leaking and causing a fire!
