K23a1 Build

keep in mind the stock engine is rated at 265 tq at the crank and im putting down 370+ to the ground... so keep in mind that mine is still living and if we do the math
to the wheels x drive line loss correction of 20% = est crank TQ
370 x 1.20 =444 TQ
at the crank which is VERY conservative.
keep in mind its not hp that kills stuff its TQ

Would be fun seeing the look on cayenne turbo and bmw x5M drivers's faces as he passes them. Even better, the look on a new nsx or r8 drivers face.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can fit the K20a valvetrain in here. I've seen it done on the K20a3.. Definitely would need a full EMS for that.

Im sure everything will fit. Just would need to clay the motor to check clearances. Just for the stock pistons that is. Aftermarket pistons are definitely deeper on the valve pockets. And no you would not need a different ecu to do it. You guys need to stop thinking this magical motec ecu will be leaps and bounds ahead of flashpro. It's working just fine on your car right now. Just need your boost leaks fixed and see how it goes from there.

Really though, hybrid-turbo systems are genius. Instant power and torque and then the turbo spools up and kicks in. It is like being hit from behind with a freight train. You could then afford to put in a monster turbo because you don't care about turbo lag. It sucks that putting that type of system into a car not meant for it, would probably be close to impossible.
