Inola, OK however far from you that is.

And that lotus is not on ethanol. He doesn't need that big of a fuel system.

He was/is running a dual fuel system, one with gas the other with isopropyl alcohol.

I was told to line up the timing chain cover to make sure it lines up perfectly with the k20 head. Well it lines up pretty good so I might be putting the K20a head on my current setup within a couple of weeks depending on what's going on with my mechanic.

Forgot about the weight difference. Not sure what the piston coating will add. I will weight it again after it gets done.

Yeah, fit perfectly , is k23 timing chain cover?

I m excite with this project, I think I'll do this wonderful frankie but with my original exhaust manifold and block water port spacer. I'll feed the manifold with coolant by outside. My rdx feel fast right now, so I believe turbo upgrade support that frankie. I'm 7500 rpm limit maybe can up to 8000 rpm with frankie (I like high rpm), but I don t know if OEM oil pump support. My old crv k20/k24 with oem k24 oil pump cavity at 8,000.00, i think k23 oem oil pump do same thing because have the same internal trans.

What do you do with oil pump? stay OEM or k20a2 fit or erl s2000 fit?

The OEM twin gear pump robs the engine of some existing power, so would definitely upgrade to the K20a or F20c pump. If you don't mind some vibration noise's, because I believe it acts as a engine damper down below. That's just what I've researched anyway.

Any idea what year it was? The 2006-2010 ones were 4.7 0-60, the 2012-2013 ones were horribly slower with only 5.3 0-60. And the newest 2014+ do the deed in 4.3. So year really depends.

I look up how to ship a block in the link below, I've never ship one before.

I see that k20a2 oil pump don t fit rdx block girdle, have very different oil pass. I don t believe somebody can adapt it.

I'm sure it will get ironed out. I'm mean look, all the guys around here are saying "WHAT YOU MAXED OUT YOUR 1200cc INJECTORS?!?!?, YOU HAVE TO BE PUSHING 400+HP". Now, who ever would have thought we'd see the day?!

14.6 @ 100mph

First run, I got two runs in. I know need to grab some time this month and get more passes in. I'm not completely disappointed, the transmission was waving the white flag.

I did not brake boost, as I didn't know what the car would do. When I did get off the line there was a brief pause which resulted my 2.6 60' foot. After the pause, boost came on crazy, spinning the tires. In first gear after tires spun, there was the redline; which I was bouncing off of. It seemed that I was reaching the transmission limits, there was a pause or hang-up on the top of ever shift. My mechanic said, "I was probably overloading the tq converter".

So, I'm going to say; the transmission is pretty close if not to it's limits. Which we don't know what that is just yet. I will have to get it dyno, to get the numbers.

I've noticed from my 2012 time slips that I gradually got faster with every pass that I made here in there. Sometimes I would mess up; however, it took more than one or two passes to get where I need to be. So I'm under the impression that I don't spend enough time at the track. If the track conditions are horrible and I'm end up waiting in line forever, I only get one or two runs in and I'm going home. During this 2012 run that I did, I was nearly running back to back. It was that quick; therefore, I went from a 15.6 to a 14.9. Which is pretty good almost a second off. So I guess I just need to spend more time at the track and keep my tuner informed. But the car is so fast! Maybe I need to break boost more, I was not brake boosting that night cuz I did not know what the power was going to do to the transmission. Obviously we did see that it was spinning and redlining. I was just in sport mode with the transmission doing everything on its own. The transmission freaked out when I got all that power down (WOT) and it just start redlining and it hesitated to shift.

I know after the fuel system and we get more power, we definitely are going to need a new transmission, I mean that's all I have until we see something blow up.

Let me know your thoughts because I'm open to any suggestions or criticism or whatever is going to be thrown at me.

Hi ken, I have the same thing with my transmission (pause or hang-up on the top of ever shift). I resolve:

calibration-throttle-overrun cutoff map high cam (cut) 4000=0.506 6500=0.506
calibration-throttle-overrun cutoff map high cam (recover) 4000=0.546 6500=0.546

cutoff boost when you shift. (try and tell me). number could change, you have build rdx than me. Talk to your tuner.

Hey man, I really do appreciate you coming forward with that information. Not a lot of people on here come forward with their problems, issues or anything that's going wrong with their car. I don't know what they are afraid of. You shouldn't have to be afraid to post any problems or issues because of what people might think or say. Well, they're not going to be judged here at least not by me. So don't be afraid to post any issues or problems that you are having with your car. I'm here to help in any way I can. Obviously this member is here to help as well. Man much appreciated thanks for posting that.

Haré romel is ok in my book. (I do have a little black book)
