Hey guys, I am going to be tackling the journey of wrapping my RDX right now it’s gloss black but I am going to a nice gloss blue almost like the newer aspec.
Has anyone else done this before? Looking for some trips on removing the rear hatch grille, lower door mouldings and the door handles.
I mean; taking off parts is pretty self explanatory. if one can't do that themselves, then one can wrap them ON the car.
cars are pretty much put together the same way...all you have to do is search youtube for removal of door handles to get a grasp on how to remove door handles, etc.

Good luck
I know taking the door cards off and stuff is easy for the handles etc, I just don’t know about the rear grille and lower door mouldings. I haven’t been able to find anything for them. Cheers though!
lower door molding might be 3M'd or glued on...Heat up with heat gun.
what is a rear hatch grille?
btw, you do awesome detailing work .. that's the shiniest black i've ever seen
Yeah lower door mouldings are like 20 clips and 3m, cheers buddy I run a high end detailing shop I take pride in my vehicle. That’s the rear end, I am assuming pop off the interior panel and a bunch of clips pins will remove it.
yeah, gotta go in from the interior to reveal pins and screws that you can remove.
I so want a rupes polisher. I find that the PC7424xp is fine for beginners but I want to graduate to a rupes! lol, I can spend 15 hours or more on my personal vehicle. I take pride in detailing as well!
My RDX is white. Alas, no matter what I do to it, it looks "nice", but since white is the absence of all colors (yes I know it is really blizzard pearl), I can't make it look wet like that picture. Excellent job mate!
