1999 Acura CL 2.3 battery Cables

My negative battery terminal is so corroded that the car won't start once in a while. Once I clean the terminals and tighten the terminal it'll start right up. I'm positive it's the corrosion on the negative cable. I've gone to 3 automotive stores in my area and no one seems to have them. I've also looked online to find a replacement but haven't been successful finding cables for an Acura CL anywhere! Can anyone steer me in the right direction. Any help would be much appreciated

Michelle

I think you would need #10 in this photo http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no
you can probably write the part number down and get it from your local Acura/Honda dealer, the part number is 32600-SY8-900

I would go to a dealer first. If that does not work I would go to a car audio shop and get some large diameter ground wire with a battery ground terminal and whatever connector you need for the other end.

Ring terminals.

OP, go get a basic battery connector and some 8-4awg wire and reground your battery. It literally takes 4 ring terminals, ~3' of wire and whatever battery post connector you want to use. Took me about 10-15 minutes to reground my battery.

Also make sure you put some battery terminal grease on to keep them from corroding again. It's like $0.99 at auto zone and it really does work. I went through several terminals before I learned that.
