I'm thinking a shop would charge me about $300 for this service. My local autozone is selling starters for our car for $120, and they give you a $40 refund when you bring in the old one.

Yup i believe two bolts a ground and positive wires. I replaced my Odyssey starter with a rebuild one. A rebuild cost is cheaper but if you have the money a new one is always better. Its an easy plug and play

So it's a matter of loosening a few bolts and some wires ?

Take out the 2 bolts from the starter going into the block, but first disconnect the ground and positive wires frim the starter. After bolts are off pull it off. Google should have sum thing up on a how to bro.
