pondering getting a new engine for my 97 3.0 ........ does anybody have any input as to why, why not the 97 nsx's 3.0 engine would fit under my hood? if so, existing parts that would need replacing to match the new engine. hey, it's just a thought. thanks for the input.

your looking at about 20 grand!

 

also the nsx engine spins backwards

 

and where are you going to find an NSX engine for a price less than what your car is worth

 

good luck with that. And when you spend the 20 or 30 grand to get this done, then I will give you a cookie.

Just think about rolling up on an nsx and mtelling him that oyou have hgis motor in your car.

 

do it easier, by an early NSX they are pretty cheap now a days. My brother said a 93 sold at auction for just a hair over 20K!

 

but then i would just drive the NSX instead of tearing it apart to put the engine in a front wheel drive car.

 

would the nsx engine fit into a 2nd gen Mr2?? That would be scorching.

 

ANYTHING is possible, but usally also costly. I've seen rwd del sols w/ b series motors mounted in the rear

if they can put it in a civic hatchback it will go in a cl.....but maybe yall dont stay up on the ricer seen
