Hell, Yeah!

I'm running out the door, or I'd write more. I'll check back with you later.

I defintely feel a pull. It changes the revs like a mofo, especially going up hill. I want to go a little faster and it thinks I wanna race and starts pulling like crazy.

Here's a picture of my install...Hope it helps.

What about the led? Does that come on at all when you just punch it? If not, then something is not hooked up right with the install?
What version is the software on your v400 btw?

[Not trying to insult your intelligence, just cover all of the bases.]

Make sure that the circle-side "O" of the button is pushed down.

Hopefully, you didn't turn the Venom on or off while the car was running. If you did; the Venom is "fried".

Are you sure that the connections (to both the Venom, itself and the engine) are correct?

I definitely feel a difference when its on compared to off!

Good luck!

At the time, I had been consistenly averaging 160 HP (at the wheels) completely stock.

I added the short ram, and was getting an average of 165.

With the Venom on, I was averaging 178.

EDIT: Are you still coming down tomorrow?

Im planning in coming, its just going to suck if I dont have my venom working. I think I am bringing a few other people, so I wont be able to meet up with you guys until we get down there. Also, what is the exact weight of our cars, I can seem to find it on the door?

If you want, maybe I can help with the Venom. Let me know. I'll be around the house all day (installing the HIDs). Cell #301-523-6479.

The published weight of the 3.0CL is 3219.

EDIT: I'm off to bed; later!

Only if it falls in the shitter while you are sitting on it.

G-Tech isn't as accurate as a time slip or dyno, but it is a good indication of how fast one goes and how powerful your car is, just a guide and not the gospel.

Agreed. If you have consecutive runs with the same setting/conditions/etc. then you can get a baseline, and work from there. Even if the GTech is not accurate (compared to trap times at the track) it's at least consistent. So as long as I don't change the setting, it can tell me the approx difference between having the Venom on and off.

As far as accuracy in timing, I'll let you know tonight after I compare it with trap speeds at the track.

Hopefully this will put to rest the "It's shit, no it's not" debate!
