Itzcarlooo: I'll get the payment to you by the first of the week. (gotta get things straightened out. ) So again, we'll pay the shipping $ later when their finished? (your contacting us?) Soo about the first of Sept. is when we'll get them? (I cant wait...kick ass)

(Just went to HIN tonight and after seeing all of those cars, all I could think about was getting a CF hood..lol)

I really want to get the hood, simply to take some more weight off. But I'm debating it because I know I should save my money for when the project starts in the shop. Not sure whether to get this or not right now.

Atleast your only issue is just getting it for weight reduction. I NEED this hood. Mines been busted up for over a yr. and I didnt want to pay the $1300 for a new OEM hood. Ive been waiting for someone to hit me or for hail damage so I wouldnt have to pay all of that.
Im glad I waited until now, so ive got the $ and can be apart of this CF hood GB.
FINALLY I'll be getting a new hood!!

(Ive been driving around like this for the past yr. I feel sorry for my car for having to look this this for the past yr. I've felt like trash driving around like this too...

(this is what it looked like when I hit the illegals...lol)

(and this is what its looked like for the past yr...the grill dosnt fit cuz the hoods bent.)

I drove with my grill off for a couple of months.....only did it in hopes of allowing a lil more airflow into the radiator and tranny cooler if it at all helped, which I doubt. Put it back on the day my shit almost over heated, lol. I was like "Piece of shit theory of yours Chris....you and your fucking ideas, didnt even work"....lol....

I will be contacting everyone and collecting payment for shipping when the hoods are ready to be shipped. I'll also be in constant contact with everyone on this forum to keep them updated of the status of the hoods etc. Once one hoos is done, I'll try to get my hands on some pictures of it so I can show everyone. And the hoods should be done around the end of September or early november. It might be done earlier, depending on how fast VIS can make the hoods.

since they will be making only 20, there's no time limit, there are NOT 20 people yet, and it will be done by the end of September or early November, is it okay to pay you or get one later..? how many people paid you now? and how many are on the list..?
THanks

5 Have already been sold, and another 5 are going to dealers unless they cancel. I deal with local dealers and retail shops, as well as out of state. I would rather have the forum members have these hoods then retail shops and dealers. The retail shops and the dealers know that it will sell since nobody has this hood, but they're going to be charging over $500 for the hood! You can pay me later, but what if all the hoods are gone?

There's 10 hoods left, 5 of them are sold to local people not on this forum, and the other 5 are on hold for dealers and retail shops. So that leaves 10 hoods left! I suggest everyone should jump on this fast!

The final price of the hood is $460, and I might be selling more..but again, its going to be special order so I'm going to need to order 5-10 at a time. Also, the price will be much higher then $460, another factor is it will take another 6-8 weeks to produce.

Shipping will be $100 to a commercial address +$30 to a residential.

Thanks!

Yes they are included =) VIS is making everything to OEM specs, everything will be the same as the stock hood. As I stated earlier, VIS will not make a hood that will ruin their repuatation as being the #1 carbon fiber manufacturer for hoods.

All my hoods ship out with insurance. If the hood arrives damaged, insurance will cover all of it and I will get you a new hood. My shipping company bax global takes care of my items, I have yet to get a damaged hood .

Carlo told me that we should recieve them around Mid Sept. (He will be keeping in close contact with the buyers to tell them of the progress) Also, I guess VIS will use the first hood as a "tester" to make sure things are going to work just right.

As far as the pict goes, I have a friend who has a VIS hood on his Celica. I should see him in the next day or two and I'll shoot a few picts for you guys.
