thats totally gay. the only thing i dont understand is if we're still using "fundable" as a service? i mean, what happened to it? the group buy had changed many times. who has paid through "fundable"? if we're not using them as whatever for our group buy, then they shouldn't say that they'll hold onto your money till whenever the auction ends. you'd be bidding on a totally unvalid item.

Carlo didn't set up the fundable group buy, silver2.2cl whoever that was that got set that fundable up. And they're keeping the money till the group buy time limit runs out. That's still gay u can't get your money out of a failed gb though.

 

suspension is mad fun man... you're gonna feel like you can take every corner once you get new shocks/springs...

too bad you dont already have suspension.. then you could invest in this hood

 

I didn't set that group buy up, but it's no biggie they will refund everyones money back. Anyone who paid through fundables can have a spot saved for them, but I think it was just specter who did it. Anyone else who did pay through fundables can contact me directly and let me know whats going.

 

You can invest in the suspension at any time, but a CF groupbuy is very hard to come buy, there have been a few in the past that have failed, so I think now would be your (or anyone else's) best chance to get a CF hood if you eventually want one.

 

couldn't agree more, this groupbuy is supposed to be going through. I know that I'm going broke now, because i've wanted a cf hood for my cl, and wouldn't wait. I jumped on this gb. As ted said, this is the best chance to do this, people better jump on. Carlo's only getting 20 hoods for now, there's not many slots left.

It was a dream, just like the other c/f group buys. Carlo's the only one that made one actually get started. I would have loved cf lips though

how much weight would it lose with the CF hood? I put some trunk springs on for my rear spoiler and while the springs were off the trunk lid is soo fucking heavy. I had no idea. It weighs at least 90lbs.

 

don't let that trunk hit you in the head, it f'ing sucks. I found that if you take the liner off the trunk lid, the trunk has no problem flying straight up. Guess it came with the upgraded springs. As for the weight, i'd say there'll be at least a 20-25 lb weight loss

Soo the first hood is comming in 2 weeks. Kick Ass...So how will this work though? Is this first hood going to be the first "test fit hood"?? I realise they cant make all the hoods at once, so is there any word or thought on how these will be distributed to us? Who get which one and when?

I'd imagine that as carlo gets them in, he'll send them in order of who bought and paid first. My only question is, are they gonna show up to you carlo one at a time, or will you get a big batch at a time?

 

 

I just talked to Carlo...this hood is being sent as a "test fit" / prototype hood. The rest will come by mid Sept. - 1st of Oct. and he will ship them all out @ once he said...
