Wow...i mean who would of believed we would actually be able to get a CF hood custom made for our car...lol..you guys remember when Carlo first started talking to us on here about a CF hood GB?? (just look at pg 1) Everyone called

Ok whoa..everyone calm down. First off... CL PLATANO: who is "your guy"??? And how does he know about anything to do with the production of our hoods?
Second: I dont think Carlo even knows about this and hes the offical Vendor w/ VIS...i would think he would know before anyone
Third: We wernt going to even recieve the hoods until the end of the month anyway...the "test fit" hood was at the beg. of Sept. and we were all suppost to get ours around the end of Sept.
I donno...maybe its me, but maybe thats old info your friends telling you?? Yea, the FIRST MOLD failed...(first mold being 3 months ago when this all started) And if thats the case, then yea, they had to re-do the mold, and thats why were suppost to get them at the end of Sept....not at the Beg/middle.

Hey everyone, I don't know who CL Platno is, but I just talked to VIS and they told me that the batch of hoods are coming in a 1.5 weeks to 2 weeks. But for sure it wont be after october. Or else thats more then 10 weeks. On the invoice it says 9-10 weeks from the date of order which is a binding contract. My guy is going to let me know if the test fit hood comes in this week or next, he's not too sure since VIS ships out containers every week. Everyone can calm down, and the hoods will be here by the end of the month.

I donno why but after reading Platano's post and seeing his age (32) for some reason it reminded me of that commecical where the dad tells the daughter she cant have any emerald nuts because the Easterbunny will get whacked and Santa will never come back...lol

He is the dealer I ordered the hood through. He has worked with VIS for years and when we started the group buy I went to him to see if it was a valid transaction and he said yes and ordered the hood for me through VIS directly and also another one for some other kid with a 1st Gen around my way. I called him on Friday and that is what he told me about the mold.

Ahhhh I see. So the truth comes out. It wasnt Platano jackin around...it was VIS that has been going behind Carlos back.
