Hello. Long time lurker here who finally registered because I need help with a problem. I have an 01 MDX and 2 days ago the lights in the dashboard and tail lights stopped working. I found the "Little Light" fuse was blown and replaced it. But as soon as I turned the headlights on it blew again.

I do have an aftermarket stereo (already installed when I bout it) so I checked it out. The orange "illumination / dash light" wire was indeed loose. I taped it up but the fuse still blew.

So I'm thinking I need to ground this wire. Here's where my lack of expertise comes in. I have no idea how to do this.

Based on my understanding, there is no ground wire present behind the stereo. I found this odd because it seems like this is a mandatory step in installing an aftermarket stereo. So now I'm wondering if this is the problem, why has it just now become an issue? I've owned the vehicle for about 6 years now.
