so my brother is looking at buying a 07' MDX but there is no "low" support out there for it...my wife has a 08' RDX....i was doing some research and both the MDX and RDX have the same MacPherson independent strut design and independent multi-link in the rear....and the curb weight difference is only 500lb's between the MDX and RDX (MDX is fatter) so do yall think i could make the RDX lowering springs work on a 2nd gen MDX? if not....i can always put them on the wife's car...has this been done before?

no, not yet...still doing research...and im not funding the springs for my brothers wife's car...if he buys and they wont fit ill purchase them for our RDX...but my bro is also looking into the Honda Odessy coils....i do know that the RDX and MDX top hats for the shocks are waaay diff and wont work...but the Odessy one looks identical....im just waiting for him to get some money up and make up his mind.....we are also thinking about trying to get a hold of a company that makes coils for Odessy and see if they would be willing to help us out with acquiring some coils...since there is no support, they might be interesed in tapping into that market if we can get it to work...

 

update.....as of this weekend my bro's 2007 MDX is lowered...we endend up going with H&R Sport Springs for a 2007 Honda Odessey.....they fit great and everything works fine....im trying to get my brother to join AcuraZine and make a thread...he is already on MDXers.....but i want him here too....but it is CONFIRMED....we have pics for proof...Odessy springs work on MDX's
