I was embarrassed because of my beautiful Audi breaking in a crowded tourist area. I'm a very good looking guy. I wear beautiful clothes. My hair was slicked back and it was perfect. I was bumping Doctor Dre to the highest volume and everything was just so perfect. Girls were getting moist just looking at me. Than my Audi broke and it wouldn't start. Busy intersection. Everyone started laughing because I looked so arrogant and cocky prior to it breaking. This nerd drove by in his new Lexus IS 350 F Sport and had the audacity to shake his head at me. Anyways I would like a new start.(And a new car).
Show me a picture of your Audi, the really expensive one with a bagel on top. Or you will be banned.

Whether one "blows [the other] our of the water" is, of course, entirely subjective. If, by that, you mean - The TLX has more features I have to pay extra for with BMW, you're probably right. I, for one, have long been critical of BMW's over-reliance on a'la'cart pricing for may features which should really be standard on a car of that caliber. For example, HID Xenons ought to be the standard for ALL BMW models. A 320 with halogens is just an embarrassment to the brand identity, IMO.

On the other hand, if you are comparing the dynamic performance between a $48k 4-series and a TLX, well that's something different altogether. I for one, would rather have a base 435i, sport line (not M-Sport, mind you) with RWD than a FWD biased (even if it is AWD) anything from Acura's current lineup at this point. Regardless, why we are comparing a coupe (4-series) with the TLX is a bit of a mystery to me in this discussion.

If you give me a fully loaded TLX SHAWD vs base model 435. I will take 435 every time because:

it is RWD and it is 6mt.

Those 2 > everything that TLX has to offer.

I know my requirement does not represent the mass but somehow coincidentally, i have a feeling that there will be more ppl buying base 435 than fully loaded TLX SHAWD

on a related note: it makes me wonder how the TLX 4 banger with DCT or 6mt will be if it was RWD?

I would simply because I'm cheap and I did like how the TLX (FWD V6) drove.

I'd love a BMW, but I'd lease it

oh yes. Butthurt. Delicious, satiating, irresistible butthurt.

Shame he had to get banned. I was looking forward to more of his college buddies laughing at us

Anyway, I'm in the same boat, if I actually had to choose. BMW = lease. Acura = buy. I wouldn't get either though... I'd wait for the new turbo 4-cylinder to be dropped in the IS.

Are we comparing the same type of cars here?

While we're at it, why not the Hellcat Charger... I think I would take that over the TLX

Of course, nothing wrong with that I suppose. But, it makes you lament what they WERE.
acura has confirmed they are 'researching' a type-s, but I wouldn't expect a rwd v8. would be great if it has the tt v6 sorta like the gt car.

the way I see, if folks want more car it will cost more money.

true, but maybe not right after a recession when half your line of cars isn't selling so well? I do think it hurts the brand not having a halo though.

no, not declared "victory" just said my piece is all. maybe it is a coincidence. not the trolling part of course, that was obviously deliberate.

The Q60 "GT-R/ew rhooj" is probably gonna be $70k-80k++

I say the turbo IS because that would be a much more appealing base engine than the underpowered 2.5L V6 they have in it now. Plus we're talking about the 4-series GC, which is still kinda in the same price range.

Q50/60 Eau whatever his name is edition is the GTR version

i believe the regular Q60 will have a detuned version of that for RWD. and it will be in the same price range or i would not be surprised if it is the same engine as C400.

News? No.

Credible rumor, I know of a few

Type S is a definite. 6 speed manual dependent upon final emissions/EPA ratings and how they affect CAFE etc.

A coupe variant is 'a go' and spy photographers should be working hard to find one!

I saw a white 4GC a couple weeks ago. It's good looking but doesn't look "coupe" enough for me.....The 6GC is way sexier.....but considering the relatively small price premium for the 4GC, I supposed that's fine....

The price difference between 4GC and 6GC is small price premium?
