VLeds V3 Triton in back-up lights

I wasted another 100$ for 5k white VLeds V3 Triton for back-up lights. I actually liked the result of installing them in my brake lights so I expected some nice result.
First thing I got when I received the set was some slight shock because the set looked like this

Even my HID set for fog lights was not so massive.
As I found out all V3 Triton sets (Gen2) now come with those huge control boxes and will not work without them. This means that Gen2 Tritons can't be used for ZDX brake lights because there is simply no space to fit those boxes (unless you take off inner plastic and fix those boxes underneath the rear fender, which is definitely not worth the trouble).
However for back-up lights there were no problems mounting the set at all. I used double side tape to fix control boxes to the inside of the plastic cover of tail lights and pushed wires somewhere inside underneath the plastic.
But I must admit those things do shine brightly! One should observe polarity otherwise they won't light up.

Here are comparison pics. Cars parked near each other so due to different angle slight difference in lighting level was expected. But not as much

Here is stock backup bulb

And this is V3 Triton

I am still pissed at Vleds for their latest crap DRL bulbs and non-V3 switchbacks but V3 Triton is the thing although it is definitely overpriced
Today I ordered 5k triton switchbacks after HID and LED gurus told me that even they consider Triton a worthy product
