Tire pressure should be... ?

If you look at the sticker on the door jamb, tire pressures should be 42 psi. But in the Acura EV app is recommends 38 psi. I just got my tires rotated by Acura and they are all now at 42 psi. What are people setting their tires to?

My EV app recommends 38 front and 42 rear, which agrees with the door jamb sticker - for a Type S.

In the US, the door jam label is for MAX load. For regular loads, perhaps it is 38 PSI. I couldn’t find it in the manual (new to Acura since Thursday).

The Type S manual only shows pressures if driving at high speed (cold: 39 front, 45 rear). The door jamb is usually the place to go for pressures, but I usually adjust from there for comfort/handling). However in a car this heavy, I just go with the pressures given there (38f/42r).

The max pressures would be dependent on the tire itself - and is noted on the sidewall. The Michelin Primacy has a max rating of 50psi.
