Ricky I saw you posted on this thread, you jumping on the offer? I'm debating on type I vs type II. Adjusting the dampening would be a pita I imagine since you have to rip out of the rear seats. Type I almost seems like an easier choice.

I have same problem, Ghetto rigged it though haha.
I think I know the part though
Part 11

Shipping costs double the price of both clips. I'm gonna see If WS Acura has any in stock.

Guys, I'll be selling my black Muteki SR48 regular extended open ended lug nuts and 4 Muteki SR48 locking extend open ended lug nuts. I bought them last year (used for one summer) for 200$ online. Looking to get 80$ firm.

yaa its like $700 with shipping for the type I which i think is not worth it so found a good deal on springs and pulled the trigger. now i money to get my rims powder coated ...but over all i think type I is good unless your tracking your car and shit.

@ riicky - Cause they have some smashed up Honda's and Acuras as junkers and I asked if I could come pick and pull and hope that I could just rip out a seatbelt and be off and the guy insisted that I shouldn't do that and was being a major asshole about it saying it won't fit in my TL and was just going off bout it.

But whatever I ordered 2 from West Side Acura, cost me $800 for both so I should be back in the TL by wednesday.

so $400 each for a seatbelt.. which is basically just a strap.. thats ridiculous..

dealers here are too pricy. I asked a quote on rear sway bar end links and it's 100$ for both. Just the links.

Wooooo I love my acura certified plus warranty.

The power steering leak I had was from the line that was recalled on base TL's but not the Type S, West side acura did the recall for me under the extended warranty I bought = saved 350 bucks!

But it doesnt cover a leaky rear valve cover gasket, to get to it, the intake manifold apparently has to be taken off, cost of that....700 bucks....or while its all open, a valve lash adjustment could be done and it would be 800 said and done, on top of 800 of what it would cost to do the timing belt. Shit god damn.

That came with my car, It doesn't look too bad. I took it off though for ASpec. I'll sell it to you cheaper than ebay if you want it

I find it weird how the recall was only done on base TL's but excluded type-s's. It's the same part and the type-s's don't have that updated "shield guard" that Acura claims they do.

I think I'm going to get a quote from Wilson's Auto Tech for my timing belt. Lol if it's cheaper I'll order the timing belt from a vendor here and get them to install, but I have my doubts since that stuff is "packaged" at a dealership sometimes. I'll get it done in the next few months since it's better to be safe than sorry.

^ you don't really need them. Like you don't really need airbags. I had a car for 2 years without airbags, just cut off after deployed and taped over the rough part of dash and steering wheel. Makes you a better driver I think haha

DRL light indicator on dash, or the headlights themselves? Even when your HID is turned off? Weird.

Try resetting the ecu? On the other hand, are you still going to mod your TL this spring?

Probably not since all the money that was gonna be used to mod my TL went to repairing it =(

@Miran the DRL light goes away when I turn my HID's/highbeams on but other then that its always on.

again I don't know if you are talking about your DRL light indicator on the dash, or the actual headlight DRL.
If the dash light for DRL is on, that means your DRL aren't working. It can be many things, like fuse, one bulb could be out, and maybe the harness was damaged in the accident (thats what happened on my 2G, and I couldn't find where it was so I still don't have DRL).
And yea if the dash DRL indicator is on, and you turn on your HIDs/highbeams, DRL indicator won't be on because now you aren't using DRLs.

Yeah its the DRL light in my dash that's on.
Yeah today I just found out that one my main #22 fuse just blew and I was using a temp fuse
Maybe that will fix things when I get the new fuse on tuesday.

Just put the roof rack and Thule on it yesterday, should be easy to spot lol. Currently looking for a OEM rear spoiler for it... if anyone knows where to get one, I'd love to know!
